  1. Great idea - thanks for including me and for bringing your blog to my attention.; i love finding more Aussie sewing bloggers!

BTW I noticed you have Christy listed under Melbourne - she's actually in Sydney.

  2. Oh and I'm thinking of s few more: Gail of My Fabrication here in Sydney, Katherine of Bloom's Fabric Obsession (I think she was in far north Queensland? But may have moved), Beajay from On the Road to Sew Where, Emma of Ernest Flagg in Sydney. Evesewcool hasn't blogged in a while but maybe she's just having a break - she's another for Sydney. Ladyxbec is another (I don't remember where she is), also Julie of Featherstitch in Brisbane... I will keep thinking as I'm sure there are many more!

  5. Hi, I'm happy to be on the list - though I think of myself as a sewer not a sewist ;)

  6. Aw, I think you need a space for people from Darwin, and put me on it! And if you can find any other sewing bloggers round this neck of the woods I'd love to hear them!
(And yeah, I'm a sewer, not a sewist. I figure people can figure out from the context I mean sewing, not plumbing :-P)

  8. Hi what a lovely idea. I am in Sydney and my blog is sewandsewbytheseasea.blogspot.com.au. I would call myself a sewer but I'm not sure what the difference between a sewer and sewist is. although maybe its obvious and my brain is just mush at the moment.

    1. I've added you, thank you! "Sewer" just looks unfortunate when written down.

  9. Oh this is so fantastic because I love reading Australian blogs. More relevant and I think less.. hmm.. competitive? Less hype? something I can't name. I'm Sofie, I'm in Brisbane and my blog is sewdarntired.blogspot.com. I found your blog from Kristy (Loweryourpresserfoot) tonight. I see other Brisbane blogs already and I didn't know there was a Burda Sewing Club in Brisbane.

  13. What a great roundup! I love following along other Aussie blogs - although I do love seeing all the mid-winter pics from the Northern Hemisphere, it's a bit depressing when I'm sweltering here! I'm in Brisbane, my blog is http://everydaynotionsblog.blogspot.com.au & my name's Rebecca and I'm still pretty new to the online sewing blog scene!
